LUCCA AND CINQUE TERRE with Betty Carr
$3495 painter / $3295 non-painter June 18-28, 2016

CINQUE TERRE

You won't find a more beautiful location than the 5 little villages of the Cinque Terre. The coastline, the five villages and surrounding hillsides are all part of the Cinque Terre National Park and it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Lucca

The beautiful walled city of Lucca is a magic place. Lucca was founded by the Etruscans and became a Roman colony in 180 BC. It is surrounded by large thick walls that you can explore on foot or rent a bike for the best views of the city and the surroundings. Ruins of the Roman Amphitheater can still be seen in the Piazza dell'Anfiteatro.
