(1) Finesse - for beginners and hobby artist. The bookings are open for 7 days program beginning from October 2006 through March 2007 as per schedule below.

(2) Visionaries - exclusively for professionals already involved in art practices.

Who can join this workshop?
Any individual/family/group or those who derive joy looking at the landscape in a bright sunshine and local folks in most colorful costumes;
One who does not hesitate to play with colors and clay giving shape to the personal imagination;
One who enjoys looking at the historical forts, palaces, temples and hustle and bustle of a medieval city etc;
One who loves to know more about the unknown world and interact people;

This program will facilitate absolute beginners, hobby and Sunday Artists. This program could be attended by anyone interested to explore the joy of painting, clay modeling and puppet making. The workshop will be assisted by practicing artists accompanying the group They shall demonstrate the handling of the medium, explain the nature of the paper and other materials, selecting the sites and spots for every individual. The group will also be served drinking water, tea, and coffee at the working area.

The Package:

The package will include a comfortable stay, meals, transport, art materials, and one time entry fee to all places of tourist interest we make you visit .The organizers will ensure that you incur no extra expenses on anything excepting your personal marketing, hard drinks, tobacco and laundry while with us.

7 Days Program

Price includes:

· 6 Night hotel accommodations.(Twin beded sharing)
· All meals including Beer, mineral water and soft drinks during stay in Udaipur.
· All art materials required in workshop.
· Transport to painting workshop locations, lecture demonstration places and site seeing.
· Transport (to and fro) from Udaipur airport/Railway station etc.
· All assistance by professionals and attendants.
· One time entry fee to all places of tourist interests that we make you visit along with a still camera fee charged from tourists.

Ø The package will begin from the time of your arrival at Udaipur airport till the 7th day of your departure from airport/ Railway station/Bus stand.

    · Tentative booking will be made by the entries into our Performa

    · Booking will be confirmed only after deposit of 25% amount within 
    a fortnight.

    · The balance amount is expected before 3 months of participant's arrival 
    date at Udaipur. Incase, the date is less then 3 months, payments should be 
    made in full. Incase, full prices are not paid before 2 months of arrival 
    date at Udaipur, the organizers will reserve the right of canceling bookings.

Daily itinerary of art tour / workshop

1st day
Arrival at the hotel, we will take you for a stroll and enjoy the hustle and bustle of this medieval historical town come back to hotel and relax. In the evening, you will be briefed about the whole week schedule with discussion over a glass of wine.

2nd day
It will be full of activities with city site seeing that will consume your 3/4th day. In the evening, you will have a conversation with professor (Dr.) Choyal with a brief introduction to Indian art.

3rd day
Out door painting (3hrs)
Clay modeling (2hrs)
Visit to craft village (2hrs)

4th day
Out door painting (3hrs)
Clay modeling (2hrs)
Introduction to puppet making (1hr)
Visit to cultural center for folk dances (1 ½ hrs)

5th day
Visit to Chittor fort (80 km from Udaipur city) packed lunch will be served.

6th day

Terracotta Firing system (3to4 hrs)2000 years old system
Followed by drinks and dinner at Choyals' studio.

7th day
Out door painting (2hrs)
Discussion session on art created during workshop followed by lunch.

Details for Visionaries

This program facilitates the professional artists who are independent in their creative endeavor and are well aware of their art materials and needs. The main aim of this program is to extend the maximum possible facilities for practicing artists coming in groups or as individuals to capture Udaipur's cultural milieu or work in solitude for final execution of their project of installations, site specific, painting, sculptures, printmaking with editions etc. Furthermore, they could carry back finished products (art works) to their home country utilizing our professional services for their specified projects.

Facilities within the package...

The package will include a comfortable stay at a hotel, meals, transport and one time entry fee to all places of tourist interest within Udaipur municipal area;

members of this group will be accompanied by an attendant carrying their art materials, photographic equipment and other necessary materials if required at out doors;

male / female models could be arranged in specific costumes;

studio facility for painting / printmaking (only acquatint, etching and serigraphy), installations, stone fiber or wood sculptures.

stone carving, installations video programs and site specific executions will be assisted by a team of professionals as per the requirements of individual artists.

packing and transportation of all finished art works to the artist's home country will be fully assisted by organizers at the owner's own risk.

Through out the globe, working facilities with economic and affordable prices is a challenge for the professional artists. Whenever they are in a process of execution of a commissioned work, may be a monumental sculpture (stone, steel, wood, terracotta, resin etc.) or an installation of specific kind or for personal practices our visionary program of holiday art tour / workshop extends all possible help.

Process

Artist interested to work with us may please communicate through mail about their project in detail with their concept, required assistance, specific medium / mediums, tentative number of days / period required along with the deadline of finished art work's transportation to the required destination.

We shall process the project and will soon return back to you maximum within a week's time with the details of expenses involved. Artist willing to join this program should please mention the number of individuals accompanying mentioning about male and female partners for proper hotel arrangements.

Accommodation during the workshop

You will be housed in a comfortable hotel, situated in the heart of the walled city with views over looking the famous lakes. double bedded rooms( sharing) here will have a traditional décor facilitated with attached baths/toilets with hot and cold showers. The hotel shall be serving you continental and Indian meals to suit your taste extending a most comfortable stay.
